The banana diet is based on theories that enzymes and proteins can be used to manipulate your metabolism. Most versions of the banana diet are quite close to the original Japanese morning banana diet. Each popular version instructs you to eat bananas and room temperature water for breakfast (eating as many as you need to feel full), a banana and a room temperature glass of water one hour before lunch and dinner. Eat what you regularly would for those meals. Avoid dairy if possible and make meals well balanced.

The plan has great success for
weight loss if meals are put together from low fat, low sodium, high nutrient foods. Many of the
"fat burning
foods" are super nutritious and should be incorporated into your daily lunch and dinner.
The most important element to the bananas
diet plans is the consumption of bananas one hour before eating a meal.
Use the occasional apple as substitute to alleviate boredom. Many
people report great success with this plan, without having to radically
alter the foods they eat and without being pushed to exercise.
